Luckily, selling isn’t just cold calls and convincing strangers to buy something they don’t need. With research, thoughtful planning, experimentation, and practice, anyone can develop a strategy that really works . . . and doesn’t produce anxiety.

Sure, as your sales increase, your business is likely to grow. But before you proclaim yourself “Salesperson of the Year, you need to take a hard look inside your business to see if you’re prepared for growth. The last thing you want to run into is skyrocketing sales but an inability and lack of infrastructure to deliver to all of your new customers. Scaling proactively instead of reactively requires planning, additional funding, and the appropriate systems, staff, processes, technology, and partners.
