In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we're opening up our coworking space to all small business owners, entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurship-curious individuals from the Latinx, Hispanic, and Latino-identified communities in Pittsburgh.

Join us at Ascender on Thursday, October 13, for a Free Coworking Day + Office Hours with the Ascender team. Office Hours will be offered in English & Spanish.

Entrepreneurs, startup founders, and small business owners are invited to work from Ascender for the day and schedule time to meet with two entrepreneurship experts—our Executive Director & Innovation Director.

We'll also provide a light lunch that celebrates the rich culinary cuisine of Latin America and encourage attendees to bring food to share that represents their culture.

Nadyli Nuñez | Executive Director

Nadyli is the executive director of Ascender, a hub that helps entrepreneurs start and build their companies through education, mentorship, and coworking community. She has evaluated over 1,000 startup companies worldwide through multiple involvements such as judging pitch competitions and serving on the SXSW Pitch Board. Additionally, Nadyli is on the Community Forge Advisory Board, an organization building an equitable economy for Wilkinsburg and Greater Pittsburgh through entrepreneurship. View Nadyli's full bio.

Annia Aleman | Innovation Director

Annia Aleman is the Innovation Director at Ascender. At Ascender, she is in charge of designing and executing educational programming for entrepreneurs that provides them with the tools to launch and build their businesses. For Annia, working with entrepreneurs is an honor as she can see how local innovators launch and build new products or services that impact how people live, work, and play. Before joining Ascender, Annia worked for four years at the Department of Innovation & Performance, City of Pittsburgh. Annia’s eye for creative solutions, problem-solving skills, and convening and cultivating partnerships led her to work across teams and departments. Annia holds a Master’s in Public Policy & Management from Heinz College, Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor’s in Global Policy with a minor in Economics from Chatham University. View Annia's full bio.
