atiya jones is the Administrative Coordinator at Ascender. In this newly created role she’ll be supporting the Operations Team, and looks forward to streamlining internal processes as the organization grows.
She’s passionate about fostering a diverse community within the entrepreneurial sector because she is one herself. Throughout the years of serving as the Lead Artist & Creative Director of TWELVE TWENTY STUDIO LLC she’s developed an understanding of the unique struggles entrepreneurs endure as they work towards establishing financial stability and freedom via operating a small business.
In addition to being a working artist, her professional background includes human resources management, hospitality & retail management, and marketing research. A native of Brooklyn, NY, atiya has been a contributor to the creative and entrepreneurial ecosystems of Pittsburgh since 2016.
